As part of the Marrakech English Book Festival (MEBF) 2021, we are hosting, in partnership with the celebrated Maison Arabe Cooking School, three internationally renowned chefs and food writers; chef and author Hassan M’Souli from Australia, international award winning author Anissa Helou and Michelin starred chef Fayçal Bettioui.
Each chef will lead a cooking class on one morning each day of the festival from 10.00 hrs to 12.30 hrs.

Only 20 places are available for each cooking class with tickets costing 1000 Dh (100 Euros).

The morning starts with Moroccan tea with the your guest chef, followed by an introduction to using Moroccan spices.

This is followed by the actual cooking class itself where each of the participants will have hands on experience of cooking with their chosen chef.

After the class, participants will be able to enjoy a rooftop lunch with the celebrity chef and, where applicable, will have the opportunity to buy a signed copy of the author’s featured book.

Participants will be awarded with a Certificate of Excellence signed by the chef and will receive a small souvenir of the morning, courtesy of La Maison Arabe.

Please note that participants should be on the premises 15 minutes before the class starts.
