The Short list will be announced in November and the winner in December. Submissions for the 2028 Award will open in the spring of 2028 and will be open to new Moroccan writing in English published after 1st August 2026.

The Marrakech English Book Award celebrates outstanding English-language writing connected to Morocco. Open to Moroccan nationals and residents alike, the prize recognises the best literary work published in Morocco during the award period, and includes a cash prize of 25,000 MAD.
